Welcome to MUV’s Mongolian Bible Web site. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our charity that we hope makes it easier for you to value our ministry.
M.U.V. has been serving the Mongolian people since 1984. We specialize in publicizing formerly not publicized scriptures.
It took 14 years to finish the translation project of the Mongolian New Testament. Until Thanksgiving 2003, God willing, this page will be complete with the NT for reading online and for printing. Now you may view on a few test pages the upcoming complete vertical Mongolian New Testament.
Many people around the globe have contributed to make this translation work, the printing and the publication on the Internet possible. While some worked on it full time, others provided their special skills for the difficult computing and still others prayed for it and supported the work with contributions. May all our efforts result to the glory of God.
Feel free to browse around this site. If you have comments or questions about our products or services, or simply need more information and want to contact us, go to the page “contact us” to send your comments and/or queries.
We are are a small group of evangelical, charismatic, lutheran and baptist oriented followers of Jesus Christ. Our ministry MUV (which stands for ministry to the unreached people groups) is a registered charity in Bavaria, Germany. We do our work in response to the request of God’s word and aim to be as professional, kind, diligent and honest as possible to achieve the set tasks to the glory of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. We believe that we can only be successful by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and by faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and redeemer.
We encourage you to pray for the Mongolian people and for our work. The works we have done for Mongolian people are: the translation of the books of Genesis and Psalms which have been printed and distributed with 10,000 copies each in the 1990-ies; a compendium of 7 NT books followed, a Christian Self Study Bible course in vertical Mongolian; a believer’s handbook; and a little picture booklet tract - all these have been printed with 10,000 copies each and then distributed.
For Mongolians in Outer Mongolia (Ulan Bator), MUV translated and designed a Children’s Bible with 365 stories for every day of the year. It is on the Internet since 2000 at www.mokibi.de
We are grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness, supplying the needed funds through fellow Christians for all the achieved tasks.
Why do we do this? One reason is faithfulness, the other is to have fellowship with many Mongolians in eternity.
Our works are financed by donations by fellow believers and Christian churches. May we propose that you share in this ministry by prayer and support? God bless you.
